Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this Policy is to create a safe and reliable user environment by establishing the standards that members must comply with when using the Company's services and APIs (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Service”).

This Policy applies in conjunction with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any technical or operational policies notified by the Company.

2. Basic Principles

Members must use the Service with the duty of care of a prudent manager, in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, the Terms of Service, this Policy, and any service-specific operational policies.

Due to the nature of generative AI, the output results (hereinafter “Generated Content”) may contain errors, biases, hallucinations (fictitious information), and other inaccuracies.

Members are responsible for taking appropriate safety measures, including fact-checking, before using any Generated Content.

3. Prohibited Acts (Content and Conduct Standards)

Members shall not engage in any of the following acts:

  1. Illegal Activity / Rights Infringement: Any act that violates laws or regulations; infringes upon the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, reputation, trade secrets, or personal information of others; or unauthorized use, disclosure, generation, or transmission of confidential information or third-party rights.

  2. Obscene / Sexual Content: Any obscene materials; explicit descriptions of sexual acts; exposure of genitalia; creation, distribution, or advertisement of pornography; solicitation or arrangement of sexual services; or any sexual expression related to children or minors (including virtual or synthetic depictions).

  3. Violence / Self-Harm: Extreme violence or gore; promotion or glorification of self-harm, suicide, or harm to others; content that incites or supports the execution of terrorism or organized crime.

  4. Hate / Discrimination / Harassment: Inciting hatred or discrimination based on protected characteristics (race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, etc.); harassment or threats targeting specific individuals or groups.

  5. Political Propaganda / Opinion Manipulation: Use of the Service for the purpose of electioneering, political propaganda, or the automated/bulk generation, distribution, or manipulation of false information.

  6. Promotion of Dangerous Activities: Providing instructions for manufacturing weapons, explosives, or harmful substances; creating hacking tools or malware; exploiting security vulnerabilities; manufacturing or distributing illegal drugs; or providing methods for criminal activities such as fraud, gambling, or phishing.

  7. Impersonating Professional Advice: Presenting outputs as factual or as advice in professional fields (e.g., medical, legal, tax, investment, safety) without review by a qualified professional, or inducing the misuse thereof.

  8. Unlawful Processing of Personal / Sensitive Information: Attempting to identify or profile individuals without consent, or to collect, extract, generate, or re-identify sensitive information.

  9. Spam / Abusive Use: Keyword spamming, SEO manipulation, chain messages, multi-level marketing (pyramid schemes), bulk transmission of advertisements, or fraudulent acquisition of credits through abusive behavior.

  10. Service Interference / Evasion: Reverse engineering; bypassing safety measures or rate limits through automation; sharing, leasing, or reselling API keys; causing system overloads; or bulk data collection that violates crawling restrictions.

  11. Violation of Third-Party Policies: Any act that violates the terms of use for third-party materials (models, APIs, datasets, etc.) linked to the Service.

  12. Other Violations: Any other act that the Company reasonably determines to violate public order, good morals, or social norms.

4. Restrictions on High-Risk Use

The Service may not be used for high-risk purposes that could have a significant impact on life, body, property, or critical infrastructure without the Company's prior written consent and the implementation of appropriate safety measures. Examples include, but are not limited to: medical judgments, legal interpretation or litigation strategy, financial investment decisions, credit evaluation, hiring or qualification screening, autonomous driving, and industrial control systems.

5. API and Account Security

Members shall not provide, share, or post API keys or credentials to any third party or in a public repository.

Members are responsible for the management of their own accounts and API keys. If a leak is suspected, the Member must immediately notify the Company and revoke or replace the key.

Bulk collection for benchmarking or developing competing services, as well as using the output for model training or tuning, may be restricted unless separately permitted by the Company.

6. Member's Responsibility and Company's Disclaimer of Liability

The Member bears all responsibility for their input (Member Content) and for the use, distribution of, and reliance on the Generated Content derived therefrom.

The Member must independently review and verify the accuracy, legality, and rights clearance of the Generated Content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any errors, biases, or inaccuracies inherent in generative AI, any third-party rights claims, or any damages arising from the Member's violation of this Policy or inappropriate use of the Service, unless such damages are caused by the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence.

This section shall be interpreted in conjunction with §9 (Service Use, Suspension, etc.) and the disclaimer and limitation of liability clauses of the Terms of Service.

7. Actions Against Violations

If a violation of this Policy is confirmed or reasonably suspected, the Company may take the following measures after prior notification (or post-notification in urgent cases): (i) issuing warnings or requesting correction; (ii) blocking, filtering, or limiting generation requests; (iii) blocking rate limits, cutting off billing, or revoking credits; (iv) deleting or hiding content; (v) temporarily suspending or terminating the account or API key; (vi) reporting to relevant authorities and claiming damages.

Repeated or serious violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.

8. Reporting and Objections

Reports of illegal or harmful content, policy violations, or objections to measures taken may be submitted to [support@yetter.ai]. The Company will review received reports and take necessary actions.

9. Changes to the Policy

This Policy may be amended in accordance with changes in laws or services. Important changes will be announced via service notifications at least 7 days prior to the effective date (or 30 days prior for changes that are unfavorable to the Member or material).
